The Section of Stomatology was set at the time when the Pingtung Veterans General Hospital was in the works, and the oral medical services was initiated in November, 2022. Dawu branch is composed of 2 full-time visiting staff, 1 dental techician, 2 nurses, 3 dental assistants, and was equipped with 6 dental chairs, while the Longquan branch has 1 full-time dentist, 1 dental technique, and 3 dental chairs in service. We spare no efforts in providing oral medical services and promoting the oral health for the residents in Pingtung. Besides providing oral medical services, we also support the the postgraduate dental training of community dental service for the residents in Kaohsiung Veterns General Hospital to foster dentists with the ability to provide community-centered and patient-centered oral medical health service.
